This past week was one for the books here at Sand City Fishing Charter! The birds were working, the fish were jumping out of the water, and the jig bite was second to none. It only took us 25 minutes from leaving our slip to find ourselves on top of a stack of striped bass. What followed was two hours of non-stop action, with rods bending and reels screaming. We were doubling and even tripling up on 15-20 lb striped bass, keeping everyone on board busy and smiling. In the mix, we managed to land a couple of feisty bluefish, adding to the excitement of the day.
There is no better time of year to get out there and experience the incredible fishing our waters have to offer. We cracked the code on the colors that were working best, and it wasn’t long before other boats were taking notice. They were asking what we were using because, time and again, we were the ones consistently hooked up.
Whether you’re after topwater action with light tackle, jigging for stripers, or searching for the elusive false albacore, now is the time to get out there and fish. The fish are biting, the weather is beautiful, and the season is in full swing. Come join us on Sand City Charter and experience the thrill of the catch for yourself!
