Captain’s Weekly Fishing Report June 5, 2024

Greetings, fellow anglers!

This week on the North Shore, we had an incredible run of fishing. The highlight of the week was undoubtedly the fantastic catch by our youngest anglers, Corby and Loche. These enthusiastic kids reeled in a stunning 40-inch, 30-pound striped bass! The joy and excitement on their faces were absolutely priceless as they landed this beautiful fish.

Another memorable trip was with Larry and his two sons, Zach and Jeremy, accompanied by one of their hockey buddies. We started fishing at the top of the tide, and although the bite was slow initially, persistence paid off. We managed to land a few over-slot fish, making for an enjoyable outing for the family.

A special shoutout goes to Nicky, who caught a beautiful bass aboard his Uncle Eric’s 380 Outrage out of Huntington Harbor. Great job, Eric, for putting Nicky on the fish!

One of our early morning charters featured three seasoned local anglers, Steve, Charlie, and Kenny. With their expertise, we were on the bass within five minutes of casting our lines. This quick action set the tone for an epic charter, and we can’t wait to have them back on board next week.
