Tournament Details
Date: June 27th & 28th

Location: Shotgun Start @ 7:30AM All Boats Meet at the Huntington Lighthouse 7:00AM - 7:30AM

Meet here: between 7:00AM-7:30AM Lat/Long 40º55.015'N - 73º25.555'W

Fishing Area: Long Island Sound

Eligible Species: Striped Bass (catch & release format in compliance with regulations)

Entry Fee: $250 per Boat
-
Prizes & Payouts: Awarded to the longest striped bass, fastest hook up, boat with most tagged striped bass, best video submission, and additional surprise categories!
Rules & Regulations

All anglers must adhere to New York State DEC striped bass fishing regulations.

All anglers must have a valid & current NYS Fishing License
-
Fish must be measured and photographed with the provided official tournament ruler.
-
All Anglers must comply with all USCG laws and rules and local laws.
-
No gaff of stripers, net use and lip gripper use only.
-
Use of non-offset circle hooks is required when using live or dead bait.

IGFA rules apply unless otherwise stated. It is the responsibility of each team and crew member to know, understand and abide by the IGFA and Bay Rats and Buoys Striped Bass Invitational rules. For a complete list of the IGFA rules go to www.igfa.org

For any fish to qualify for any prize category you must photograph the angler with the landed fish, and the measurement with the tournament ruler with nose of the fish on the stop to the curved fork length and girth of the fish. Photo documentation is required for all fish you tag and release to be eligible for all divisions.

All decisions by the Bay Rats and Buoys Judging Committee are final.
